Hit the car wash and sprayed the frame with the high pressure water but otherwise no.
This is my third winter and third FF treatment. Year one I went crazy and applied with my hands and a brush and coated every square inch of the frame. Last year I used my hand and a brush and did the same. This year I relied on the Kellsport upgrade spray gun to do the dirty work. I like how it applied the FF and I used the extension to get the box by the cats. I will most likely touch up with the aerosol can once I have the front wheels off to swap to my winter tires.

Ahh good, I was hoping I wouldn't have to get under there an wire wheel every rust spot. Kit is probably well worth it then, I was wondering if using a few cans would be enough but doesn't sound like it.

Finished with the interior pieces but also dipped the badges!

JUST put all interior back together, but I wanted to wait until tomorrow for daylight pics!

Tore apart my shifter knob. Gonna slap some new leather on it as well as a shift boot (maybe in a month or two).

Looks very sturdy and the price was so right. Always good when you can re-use something and you made good use of that material.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
    Now that's pennsyltucky.

What the framework on the inside look like? Is that where you used the decking?
Damn that looks good! What's your plan for a bumper. Looks to be the only thing left.

Just did mine as well! Kind of nice when the truck is new! No prep or cleaning this year!! I bought 6 cans of Fluid Film from my local O Reilly's, ended up spraying 3 cans on mine... Got to get a spray gun and buy the 1 gal can for my next application...

This is the third year I have sprayed Fluid Film on mine and my frame and undercarriage still looks new. I used cans the first year and I believe I went through five or six of them ... can't remember. This year I bought the kit and used the spray gun and it works very well. I coated the frame/undercarriage on all three of our vehicles a few weeks ago and used almost an entire gallon jug. Most people probably don't use that much but I would rather have too much than not enough on there.

What color did you use and how fun was it to tape off those circles?

Yea I removed the bezels with the tabs on the back. No taping at all. It was very easy after removing all the parts.

Just used regular plasti dip blue. I can get the color code for ya, but I tried 4 hardware stores and Lowe's had the most choices (like 5 or 6 colors in all)

    Finished product in place. :D

Looks good! Been thinking about doing the same, I do remember seeing that blue dip at the lowes near me though so thanks!
