Did they do anything to brace that cubby? Those things are pretty flimsy and wiggle around a lot. Hell they pretty much just pop out if you need to remove one...

Also you should look into some sort of plastic liner (like what was there stock) to cover that compressor or your tires are going to hammer it with mud, salt, and gravel... I practically lost my tail lights to all the mud and salt my tires throw up there!

Picked up my new tacoma :)

Previously I had a 2001 DC/SB which was nice, but made the mistake of getting rid of it. Now I'm back into Tacomas with a 2015 TRD Pro, DCSB, black, MT. Picked up my SOS rock sliders from Fastenal which go to get rhino lined tomorrow and will install them next weekend. Other than a Leer topper I'm not planning on any other modifications for a while.

Just got $1k in credit at my dealership for parts so I promptly ordered vinyl flooring. Should be in next week! I'll probably blow the rest on oil filters.

Long story but I paid for an extended warranty on my truck with the understanding that if I didn't use the warranty by the time I paid it off they would reimburse the money. Apparently the company that supplied the service went belly up leaving people like me screwed. My dealership was really cool about the whole thing and this is how they compensated me. At first they tried to talk me into getting a new taco but i showed them mine with only 40k on the odo and they understood why I wasn't getting rid of it. Then they asked if I wanted to buy another car and I told them that I had just bought a new T4R from them so scratch that. Then they tried to give me free service but I told them I do my own. Finally they asked if I just wanted parts which I promptly said yes to. I then immediately asked if I could apply it to a S/C but they said no because it was considered an accessory and not a maintenance item. Then I asked about vinyl flooring and he said he could swing that so here I am.

That's cool, I'm glad you came out on the winning end, but too bad they could apply to one accessory but not the other
