Can you measure these and post the differences vs the stock mudflaps? I like having a clean truck, but the stock flaps are ridiculously huge. I wonder if they effect gas mileage since they act like air brakes. The only benefit I can find besides not slinging mud down the sides is that they would deflect sand if I get stuck at the beach. I guess this means I could fill my own tire holes.
(Or detach the flaps and use them as shovels)

woot i figured it out. When i back up i get the stock reverse lights and led lights :woot:

    Yea i ran a 3 position switch.

1 position / ON - leds and reverse lights work together. They both turn on when shifted in reverse

2 position / OFF - leds are off. Just reverse stock lights go on.

3 Position / on/ manually - leds turns on by a switch. This will be useful when i am hooking up the trailer and camping.

My main lesson when I used plastidip, was to make sure the can was warm... Like at least room temperature... I sprayed it on my car in the garage in the summer, and I left the can sitting on the cool concrete floor between coats. When I sprayed the next coat it went on very uneven, despite having shook the can well and applying smoothly... Turns out when the can is cold the dip gets kinda lumpy.

Most of that is contributed to a clogged nozzle. The paint around the nozzle that gathers while spraying dries and creates a rubber like clog on the spray nozzle. Before every use get a nail or a thumb tack or something and stick it in the nozzle to clean it out. Otherwise you'll have the results as stated above; clumping, uneven spray, splattering, etc.

They also say to clear the can by spraying it upside down after every use. That generally helped me

Got my All-Pro rear bumper on...by myself. Well its 90% done, just got to wire up the lights which wont take long but it started raining pretty good.

Used 4 jack stands and the lift. Went slowly and raised the jacks . Took awhile but never felt toooo unsafe.

And then here it is in place. Leans 1/8 of an inch towards the drivers side but whatever.

Say whaaa. That sucks. So it is bricked for now? I'm not doing the install, they're having someone do it for me. Only option sadly. I'll make sure to tell him that..

Looks like Pioneer's PR doesn't care, and they chose an Audio Express to do the install.... hm. Not sure how I feel about that. But it's better than Best Buy, that's for sure. This is what they've sent. Missing anything Zollars? :) :D also do I need to update the aswc-1 or anything? Read a few things about updating its software or some junk

Finally got the steering wheel controls put in, only had the new radio for over a year now, trimmed up the flares from the new frame job, (they were rubbing again on the new frame) and picked up the new speakers. They'll be going in next.

That's what I do with any spray paint cans and has never let me down. Much easier then trying to clean the nozzle of dried up paint. Trick is to turn it upside down spray and at first for 1/2 second or so paint will come out then just air. Soon as you see just air you can stop and the nozzle will be clean for the next time.

I have had to take mine a few times for warranty service and at 100K for the transmission service. I am VERY adamant about them NOT flashing my ECU with the brake override crap. I tell them don't touch that pedal, don't mess with the floormat doohickeys, don't flash my ECU. I bought a truck that had power with the brakes on and when it leaves here it had better be the same way. So far it has worked, but I hate taking it in for anything due to those tech bulletins. There are times where you need both to be working 100% to get out of jambs. Those times thankfully have only happened a couple of times now in 8 years but if I had not had power still wound up and available instantly when I let go of the brake I would have been a member of the accident that happened right in front of me.
