Installed bestop supertop from @Anzy. Great guy to work with and super fast shipping. Ordered on Thursday and arrived this morning. Got it on preparation for a road trip to Oregon.

Bought the new BFG KO2s. The tire shop only scratched up 3 of the 4 wheels, not bad.

You didn't like the Nittos or did you wear them out already? Must have more miles on your '13 than I do.

I filled my Tacoma up with 20 bags of mulch and unintentionally left the back door open, drove up a hill, and had all the bags of mulch slid out of the truck onto the ground. Bet you haven't done that to your Tacoma!

Installed OEM roof rails and removed 50" roof light bar. Which brings up the question, do I reinstall the 50" with custom fab'd mounts for the OEM rails, or buy a 40" and mount it in between the rails. Let's hear it!

Are you going to color match your rear bumper as well? Thinking about doing both to mine

Started on this today. Using clear resin and fiberglass, and a spare grill I got on craigslist. This is after the first pass, lots more to do. This is my first time attempting to use fiberglass.

Gasoline to drive me to a detailer and paper money to pay for it.

In all seriousness, I'll try and find out how they did it. I know they stripped the sealer, used a compund of some sort ant then buffed it out with two coats of wax. They are set up at my work so I can easily ak them.

The 40" would probably look better.

You would think eh? But I got more reaction out of her by fucking it up than by fixing it. Oh well!

    Thanks!

I have my back seat out as well so I want to sound deaden it as well. The road and exhaust noise isn't really bad, but it can be a hell of a lot quieter.

That's usually the way, easier to get worked up than happy for some. Mine comes with, so she sees every scratch get made.
Like to know if the coats of wax help keep future ones away.

What's funny is my previous truck is a total piece of shit. 2001 Ford F150 that is beat to hell. Paint, concrete, glue, dents, scratches, rust, and a couple accidents. And that's the truck I took her out in on our first date over eight years ago. The problem is that this new Tacoma is just that...NEW! And not cheap. So the first scratches are always a tough pill to swallow. Just give it a few years and it'll be fine.
    :burnrubber:

Anyway, I doubt the wax will keep the scratches at bay. I thought about putting on a clear bra paint protection down both sides of the truck, but it's not cheap.

Finally got around to installing my Redline Tuning hood struts, they are awesome.

I also have a Redline Tuning EZ down tailgate kit. I went to install it and found out that one of my tailgate bolts that needs to be replaced by a bolt in the kit, is completely stripped out beyond beliefe. Debating on drilling it out, or just selling the kit to someone here.

    And of course... Pictures!
