    I was running 275/65/17 AT 3's before and they were a nice quiet tire. Are the 285's quiet too?

    I'm thinking ahead when it's time to change the howling MT ATZ's that I'm running now.

    i had this problem on set of tail lights that i had VHT nightshades on.
    found them after i removed the VHT with some paint remover. looks like some sort of stress cracks or it may be from getting over heated from the sun


    yeap i just saw your post about the 303 protectant....pretty sure that stuff was the cause of it. i dont think it is supposed to be used on hard plastics like that.

    Well, it's official; With a bent/twisted frame and a repair estimate of over $20,000 my Tacoma is a total.

    Now the search begins for my next one. I built a '15 TRD Sport on the Toyota site....about $31,000 plus fees. Might go that route.

    Crap, that won't happen to my headlights will it? I put that stuff on it since it has that uv protection and figured it would prevent or really slow the hazing of the headlights

    Ordered my replacment front 5100. Ordered 2 new upper control arm bolts. Ordered a set of door lock catch covers. Ordered a set of door hinge stopper covers.

    Right now - very quiet. These replace 255/75r17 AT3s that had 40,000 miles on them. They had gotten loud after 30K. But these are really quiet.

    I had the same thought as you, that maybe the 303 will keep them from hazing with its uv protectant. I've been doing this a while and haven't seen any bad things occur.

    Looks like I'll have some work ahead of myself. Just waiting on the contractors relocation kit for the winch. This will all attach to a Road Armor Stealth Bumper like the one on this guys truck. Well, besides the Air Compressor, that will be mounted underneath.

    Installed JP metal fab tie down bed brackets for the corners of the bed. They were easy to install, just need a socket set and 10mins! I'm going to mount led lights for the bed and they're also good for cord and bungee tie downs. Only cost around $50 for both and hardware was included. image.jpgimage.jpg
