I went to the auto parts store and picked up 6' of 1/4" inner diameter fuel line. I used almost all of it.

I followed this Diff Breather Mod for Dummies guide -and this dummy pulled it off!

One thing I did that wasn't covered in the dummies guide is I took a small round file and made the inner diameter of one end of the hose a little larger. Otherwise, even with liquid soap as lube, I could not manage to get the hose far enough onto the breather to clamp it. It is tough enough working behind the fender with one hand so reaming the hose first made the job easier. The union fitting at the axle fits into the hose with no problem so no reaming was needed on that end.

In my gallery there are more pictures of how I routed the hose back to the axle. I'm also going to climb back under there and wrap the hose clamp with rescue tape. This will seal it off from the elements. :)

That looks sweet! I think it would look even better if you painted the skid plate thingy too.

Some day I will get around to painting this along with my hideous chrome grill. And my rims. And my rear bumper...

Having my bumper repainted and I can't afford to be without it while it's being redone. I noticed while it's off that it really.. doesn't do a damn thing to protect anything on the truck. it's just there for looks. So I cut up a piece of expanded metal I had in the shop and bolted it into easily accessed spots. Doesn't look like much but it should help from sticks, etc

F'in new guy. Bought this 06 Saturday, the running boards had to go.
    Before:

After: So much cleaner and they got in the way more than anything.
Also peeled the pinstripe off too.

Then, since the woman called and said she had to work late, I went ahead and blacked out under the lower grill as well as the grill emblem. Scuffed the logo and hit it with some Bulldog, used grey scotchbrite to scuff the bumper and shot both with SEM trim black. It looks shinier in the pics than it really is. Have to get some better pics in the morning but it turned out nice.

Removed the secondary air filter this morning. Will have to wait and see if I notice any difference. Gonna be gone (taking the Odyssey) for a couple days. Going to Rangers/Astros tonight and it's my 15th anniversary tomorrow.
