Winter wheels went on, chrome wheels off so the magcloride they put on the roads doesn't eat them.IMG_20111111_074558.jpg

Since I do not have two tow hooks on the front of the truck, nor a front receiver/off road bumper, and with winter fast approaching, I thought that I would out a semi permanent tow strap on the front of the truck.

I cut a hole in the skid plate so I could loop a strap around the front cross member.

    Here are the results

I also disconnected the sway bar and had a little fun in the bush. The articulation isn't as much as I thought it would be, but more than when the sway bar is connected.

Finally got my aftermarket hood w/scoop painted blue.
Bought the hood on craigslist for $150 what a steal!
Bought the scoop guts at my work's body shop. Installed
The scoop inset and grille but left the air guide out
So it is a true scoop! Kept the scoop black to go with my
Trim. Also loaded my Bed down with a 4x5 mule deer:)

Don't like the deep look or all the work involved so went the shallow route, very easy and simple.

Just got done installing bilstein 5100s front and rear . The back was simple the front on the other hand not so easy. If i knew you had to take the sway bar loose and the tie rod ends and not to mention renting the specialty tool for the springs i would have let the garage do it:D
