I almost had to make an excuse for an ARB bumper. At a party and some b**** parked way close to my passenger side. As I was backing out I almost clipped the bed of her Ranger

I had the dealer price match. $87 is what they went down to. I wasn't complaining.

Took off the emblems and I'll admit it looks clean

BUT....... I think it'll look sharp with these minus the V6. :D

I checked shipping too but I still saved a decent amount by ordering a rack and bed mat from them. $107 total but still cheaper than the gas going to the dealer and the tax tacked onto it.

Re-did the mounting of the bracket I made for my High-lift and my jumper cables. Was mounted to the rails with nuts that fit in the channel of the rails and to bed with some self tapping screws on the bottom. But the bottom didnt seem very sturdy so I fabed a support plate to mount between the bed and the cab. Solid as a rock now.

Thanks. It was a PITA to get the brackets between the cab and the front side of the bed. But It is WAY more durable now.

Yeah, I can only imagine the fun you had with that! Bitchen it worked out though! Is your mount for the hi-lift attached to the mount for the jumpers? Or are they separate.

It is all one piece. I used two of the foot long mending plates from Lowe's and the pegs are actually fence gate latches, I just welded them in place.

Here is what most of one side is made of. I did run a bolt through the longer bar at the third hole I think which is what the high lift sits on.

The little guy is what is between the bed and cab. Drilled a hole large enough to get the nut to fit in the hole from the back so that plate sits flat against the inside of the vertical channel of the bed.

They're probably 12-15 feet... maybe more.

They came from a coal mine in my home town so I imagine they are for heavy equipment... but damn will they jump a normal vehicle in a hurry. :D

Thanks again. I took several more pictures with the mindset of doing a write up, but the only way I can get the pictures off my phone right now is to email them to myself one at a time...

Let me know if you want a bit more detail about what I did and I will see what I can do.

Made these with some help from Eric (relentless) with the aluminum block things.

    Thanks!

Heres a different view. I just welded some plates together and then Eric cut some aluminum to put into the bed rails and we drilled and tapped it.

I'm gonna cut the 1/2" bolts down some and put some loctite on the 1/4" bolts.

Then I'm gonna grab a security cable from HF for it.

Overseas right now missing my truck, but I did manage to get the wife to get the oil changed finally! Just in the nick of time before I lost my mind!
