So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Wishing I got this one instead of the Adavanced that I have now. :(

I finally rinsed it of for about the second time since I got it. It was only incidental to me needing to pressure wash the gunk off an old hilift that I got, so the truck shouldnt feel too special.

I'm missing the mud already...... I bet it is sitting in the bay all sad and lonely wishing to have the wind flowing by and meeting it's relatives all over the area.......

Nice...but now there's one more damned tonneau to think about!

Actually..not really...just visited two sites and neither list it as available for the Tacoma.

Upgraded to all JL components while retaining a 'factory look'
Before, sound was really poor - now it rocks!

Really? I'm sure it sounds great and is a vast improvement because I love JL Audio but I would say you did anything but retain the factory look.

It is easy to do and add some sound insulation for a really decent sound.

I like the idea of the speakers not being blocked by door panels or other obstructions. I suppose I could take a look at putting them behind the door covers ... thanks :)
As far as 'factory look' - sitting in the drivers seat - not much looks different than before... the two little knobs (clean sweep volume and bass control) are really the only thing that changed on the dash and front doors. Rear seats remain fully functional.
I seem to have lost a foot rest on left side of the clutch pedal, but that's shouldn't be too problematic, all else remains :)

Looks good, but I'd be concerned about your foot rest. It'll take time to get used to it, and how many times will you kick it before that happens? :D

I had ones in my corolla in a similar location and I was always kicking the grills off on accident. And you don't have grills to protect the cones.

Always wondered about this one. Are the kick panel speakers typically "marine grade" to withstand water and dirt?

have to redo my center console fabric :/ apparently the contact cement wasn't good enough (dunno), but will be adding in some 3M 90 to it (seems when it's fairly warm or just gets hot in the truck, the cement is VERY goo like and the fabric can be peeled off in a sense). Although somehow the front pillars seems to be holding out fine.

Here is a link to clean sweep: http://www.jlaudio.com/cl441dsp-car-audio-oem-integration-98110

My understanding is that it removes all the filters and restrictors found in OEM audio systems that are designed to "play safe" rather than damage speakers.
The clean sweep also distinguishes highs, lows and mids according to where they should go rather than bunched up all together into any speaker

The Cleensweep is for the JL line converter so you can have amps on the factory head.
