my reason on being cautious with the locker is I am sure it could speed up the ring and pinon breaking with more stress from being locked in.

Yance, Thanks for the update. I am very glad you got it covered and thanks for sharing your experience here. I was hoping if you could clarify that your damage was indeed covered under the 60K Powertrain, and not an extended warranty?

This was covered under the 60k powertrain warranty. I am still waiting to get my truck. I hope to see what broke when I get there and take a couple of pics. Does anyone know if you can purchase an OEM extended warranty this far after buying the truck? I have not heard great things on some of the aftermarket warranties they have been advertising on TV.

I have a client that owns/manages a company that runs those campaigns nationwide and just sells the leads - I would make sure that the company is highly rated before buying one!

 Ah sh@t, what am I talking about! I'm probably the biggest problem between me and something being covered by a warranty! ;) What was I thinking! Next time, I will buy something that doesn't have a warranty and is priced appropriately... or buy something that I don't modify so that it can be covered by a manufacturers' warranty.

If you are new to this board, pack your bags and leave! Trust me! It will be the best investment you ever made in your time and your financial future!!!
