Can i mount aftermarket rims?

    i resentky asked tw if i could run pro comp 7089 rims without any problems yall said yes. today i went to get them mounted and after a while they said that they wouldnt work...? they said bc the stock valve stem and pressure monitor wouldnt sit flush with my rim.. so im not sure what to do am i fd? i calld pro comp and they said i could use a mount that the stem monitor could sit on has anyone heard of thiss? please help me!

    My 7089s have Monitors in them. Not sure how theyre mounted. but they are in there.

    Yes the monitor won't sit flush on the rim. And they said when the fill it up the monitor will break

    This is the first I have heard of this issue before. There are several people running these rims with out issue.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't NEED the TPMS in the wheels. You might have to deal w/ that light on the dash always on, but a little electrical tape will fix that problem.

    Just go w/o the TPMS and keep an eye on your tires.

    When I changed my rims I went with the 17" Sport rims which didn't have the sensors on them and the 16" stock rims with the TPMS didn't work for me.I just removed the LED from the guage cluster after trying to use aftermarket sensors which the dealer wouldn't program since it wasn't theirs.Good luck with this endevor...
