I am getting ready to order a topper for my truck and i cant decide which one to get. I like certain things about both caps and i almost think that the 1 side sliders look better (helps break up the rear?) So i thought id enlist my fellow Taco bretheren. Which cap?

my current B2500 has one like the XQ... the windows are a pain to lock, have to crawl up & lock, plus there are mesh screens visible when open. they seem to seal ok. I had repainted mine, bought it used & the window corners have slowly started to chip the paint...

only bad thing about the XR is maybe the seals. other than that, I'd say it looks the best.

I like the XQ, and with added ease of use for the rear door (one handle and no key needed to lock) and all glass windows, of the choices given its the one I would buy. The XL is the one I would choose, I like the single handle and the more conventional rear door that keeps the tailgate from being opened.

The first one looks better IMO.

DRL mod with switch, rear spring TSB, trans TSB, tailgate mod, snug-top shell.
Of those two I like the first one better...
    I bought a snug-top though.

The first one looks better but I don't like the fact that there is no slider. The second one I think is more practical depending what you would use the cap for off course.
I have Windoors on mine so I also have access from the sides instead of having to climb in the bed every time.

ProComp/Headstrong leveling kit, AllPro rock sliders.
if you have dogs, get the slider. the single pane doesn't ventilate the back at all when open.
