We all know that Wilson The Dog is color blind so his research is flawed. Black is the best color and also gets the best gas mileage and provides the most HP and torque.

Black, a vehicle should not be in any color. Didn't Henry Ford say, "You can have any color you want as long as it's black"

I don't know about that but I do know black is the fastest. Since black absorbs more heat than other colors, it warms the air around the truck thereby speeding up the air molecules and reducing air density. This in turn reduces drag on the vehicle and increases your speed. Simple science.

I have a black truck, but I saw a a desert sand coloured access cab driving around town lately and It looks great. I normally hate the gold coloured vehicles too but toyota did A good job with the colour.

Silver is probably "best" in terms of maintenance, not showing dirt, etc, but in terms of looks I voted with my dollars and have a Speedway Blue DC.;)

Black looks the best. i have black and love it, the only problem is that it is impossible to keep clean and every tiny little scratch shows up like a neon sign. Next truck may be white with tinted windows and all black accesories, that usually looks really good.

    BTW, black is faster :)

I am getting mine this week and it is Speedway blue. I really like this color and I am a guy. It is different and cool looking to me. My wife hates it but that is good because she wont drive it. Does anybody think this is an unmanly color?

i say it depends on what you're doing. black and dark blue show EVERYTHING. just cant keep it clean. for that reason i say light colors. im partial to the white because it doesnt really show scratches, and it you get chips they're easy to touch up. i do like the red and silver though, just found a deal i couldnt pass up on mine.
