I know some X-Runners that are tuned and done up can run quick.

But, just wondering what the V6 auto 1/4 mile and 0-60 numbers are? Realistic stock truck, not optimistic or best numbers you've seen.

it varies on what you have....single cab, access cab, d-cab, 4x2,4x4, auto, manual....

the average stock tacoma 4.0 will run between 14.8-15.7...depending on what type of 4.0 you own...

F/I guys are running high 13's- low 14's

Just curious. Was keeping up with a Mini Cooper yesterday. I think he was surprised and expected me to be way back in his mirror.

My car has a bigger trunk though.

They may be a little quicker, but I bet you could easily keep up to it. What are those things, 1.6L?

I could keep up with it, then run it over and hose it off.

Well, that's actually pretty damn quick for and engine less than half the displacement or mine.

It also only weighs approx. 2700lbs. The base engine only has 115hp while the turbo version has 172.

Any the access cab prerunner is about 4100 lbs I think, correct?

So 236 HP for 4100lbs is 17 HP per 100lbs

    and

Mini is 177 for 2700 is 16 HP for 100lbs.

Almost equally matched, but gearing and torque and where it hit determines where the chips fall. OK just curious.

Beleive the 1/4 for these were between 15-16.

Seeing that my Dcab 4x4 w/tow is around 4300+ lbs, your Prerunner ACab is about 3800 if I remember correctly.

Had a ricer cut me off on the freeway a few months ago. He was so blatent about what he did signaling with a few hand gestures like "ha ha"... I just couldn't let him go. I think he freaked out though when my 4x4 truck went from 70mph to 110mph without a hickup. Stayed on his tail all the way. Ultimately he pulled a really fast two lane switch to get off the freeway at the last minute. That's about all he had on me though was the better handling.
