FJ Cruiser wheel on Tacoma

Anyone know if the 17" FJ Cruiser stock wheels w/285/70R-17 tires can be fitted on a 2nd gen. Tacoma without any lift??

 

you would need a lift to fit the larger tires. But the rims will fit.

 

You will need at least 2.5-3 inches of lift to fit that tire. But the wheel will fit fine.


If you don't want to lift it, you need to go with a 265/70/17 tire.

Bilstein 5100's are an easy way to fit the 285's. You will need that and an AAL. Down South Motorsports seems to have the best prices.

If your wanna fit the 17 fjs and 285s but ur not gonna do much offroading I'd put on a leveling kit. I tried fitting that combo b4 but had to lift it so I went with a different set up

3" lift is what you will need bro.
I paid $220.00 and did it myself. Easy if you have a triple fork to compress your front springs...
