Just thought I would share the new mods I did over the holidays. I started by debadging everything and ordering some new ones from SockMonkey. I then wanted to mount my Maglite and Life Hammer. I had seed mounts on the side of the seats and thought if in the event of an accident and if the door gets pushed in even a small bit, the the seat mount may not be reachable. I have also seen the mini maglights mounted on top of the console door, I really liked that, but, the weight of the Life Hammer and flashlight together was too much, and the spring of the console top would not open on its own. I then began to look at the inner wall and the space seemed perfect, even the moves needed to deploy the tools seemed really efficient so thats where I mounted them, home you enjoy, thanks for all the great information.

Thanks, never really tried one out but, may have to think looking into a better solution, may use it as a back up. Thanks for the heads up though.

I just used the dash cubby above left knee for a small 9 LED flashlight.
