    any one had a lube place tell them their 4 cylinder takes 6 quarts of oil ? I looked at the manual and as near as i can tell it calls for 6.1 which reads very high on the dipstick. anyway been running 5 quarts hope this is right.

    The 4cyl takes more oil than the V6. Cylinder displacement does not equal the oil capacity. I think the 4cyl was 6.1L if I remember right (to lazy to hit the manual up)

    fixed.

    i believe the owners manaul states 6.1, but i toss in 6 and call it a day. the .1 is worth 1.6% of the total. don't think that is going to hurt it any.
