Rear Seat Pull Failure

Hi to all,

I had a slight malfunction while trying to lower the rear seat of my double cab. When I pulled the tab, it slipped right out! Any ideas how to fix this? I tried searching to see if someone else has had this problem but couldn't find anything.
Thanks for the help!

I know I've seen this mentioned on here before. I've done some searching too and I cannot find it. Hopefully someone else will know where it is.

I'm not sure of the hole size. What about some of those long fishing pliers. Or fish hook and string.

I think the guy used a wire/coathanger with a bent hook on the end. If someone can post a photo of the mechanism, it will give you an idea what you are "fishing" for.

Diagrams and suggestions/solutions linked below. Use a brake pic to get in there.
