Ok Guys I was playing around the other night in my truck and was driving around and through this little pond when I accidentally found a pretty deep spot. The front end was pretty submerged but the intake and filter stayed above water and engine kept running smoothly the whole time. The issue I'm dealing with now is I thing the bearings in one of the idler pulleys or tensioners is starting to go bad. I recall reading about bearings in the pulley system going bad when they get submerged in water somewhere but could not find this in the search. is there a specific pulley that is known for going bad or could it be any one of them. Also My truck is still under warranty should I bring it in and let them fix it or will they be able to tell that it was under water and possibly void my warranty or something.

Im pretty sure they will be able to tell it was submerged, but they may replace it anyway.

Take it in and let them take a look at it- See what falls out. I don't think there is anything you can do but replace that pulley....so worst case is you go that way.
