Leer XQ cap fishing special model with the rod holders and a few other goodies. A bit pricey but can keep your stuff safe and sound. Just a thought

X2 on the cap. I don't have the fishing package, but it sure is nice to be able to throw your gear in the back and not worry about it.

Here's a rod rack I made using a 1 by 8 and a rod holder from Gander Mtn. It fits into the pockets in the side of the bed.

hitch haul, bed extender, bed mat, behind seat gun rack, roof rack
Tws in Nags Head used to carry an aluminum rack that bolted on to the front license plate holder, and hitchesonline may have one that mounts where the tow strap hooks are in the front. Got one for my 'Burb several years ago from them. Just make sure to keep an eye on yer stuff, it's gotten pretty bad at the OBX for stuff missing the past couple years...check out drumdum's war room on the fishin militia site, good all round info etc. :)

:infantry:I put thule bars on with thule ski racks. the racks work great, plus you can lock them (still have to worry about the reels) but Im very happy with my set up.
