hmmmm I'm not sure how much headers cost, but that's definitely an option for increased hp i think. the idea is to get air into and out of your engine efficiently as far as i know and that's a good place to start

haha it's cool everything i'm telling you i've picked up from being on this site. headers are basically the beginning of your exhaust and you can see them through the engine compartment. there are two of them, one on each side of your engine towards the bottom, with three inlets that come together into one pipe. that's the best way i can describe it

Exhaust will give you the feeling of more power. It will give a very slight increase in power but the sound will make it feel like more.
The only real way to more power will be a SC. And don't spend your money on a CAI. Just my .02 cents.

less back pressure which equals more air flow which is less resistance on the engine and better efficancy (sp)

Not familiar with the v6, but like mentioned above Id start with a good set of headers. Will be more than just $300 but for the money will probably give the biggest hp boost. Then go SUPER CHARGER!!!! But thats on a totaly diff. price scale.:D

Not sure about Texas smog laws, headers may not be legal, may not pass your State inspections.

Best ones would probably be the dough thorley long tube headers, but I think they're only for off-road use. Add a cold long ram intake and full synthethic fluids.
