I have 5% on the rear over the factory tint and i have 5% over 20% on the front. Its not hard to see for me but i had dark window on all my trucks. I did have just 20% on the front and 5% over the factory at first it wasnt that bad and looked good. If u dont want cops to mess with you i would go with 20% on front and 5% on the rear...Heres pics with 20% and 5% on front and 5% on the rear....

Heres a pic of my truck with 5% over factory on the rear and 20% and 5% on the front, and 20% on the windshield...

lucky guys with you 20% and 5% tints. 35% all the way around is legal here and you can only tint the top 5 inches of the windshield in the Socialist republik of Marylandistan

    Rain Visors,
5% is DARK, I had 5% all around with 45% on my windshield on my black F350, LOOKS awesome, but at night it is such a pain to drive. 20% is plenty and like you said....its very illegal....Since im on the good side of the badge I dont get hassled to bad, but just my .02

    Too many to list
I got 15% on the front 2 windows, left the back 2 factory and got 5% on the rear window, it all balances out good. This is the best picture I have that shows how the front 15% windows match the rear factory windows.

For cars this is true. For trucks it is any % tint for the rear doors and back window. 35% tint for front driver and passenger windows. No tint on the front windsheild and you can have a 5in front visor.

My tacoma is tint legal and looks OK to me.

No need to give the police any additional reason to pull me over.

although the back is 20% factory, it doesn't prevent any damage from UV rays. I had my front at 13, and the back at 13% also to protect my interior. and for those of you who had 35 in front and it wasn't dark enough, it's because you guys are getting the majority of your light from the windshield. your backs always look so much darker because it is covered from all dimensions, unlike the fronts.

Got mine done today as well. Just told them to match it, they did 15% and it looks to match the rear. Just seeing how long I can go not getting pulled over haha. My last car I had 35% on all sides and that not looking too dark I never had a problem with the police. Got mine done at Shades of Gray Tint in Feasterville, PA. Highly recommend them to anyone in the Southeastern PA, NJ, northern DE area. Will try and get a pic later if I remember to.

Got mine done today as well. I got 5% over factory in the rear, 35% on the front. In North Kakalaki you can have any % on the back window and doors and 35% on the fronts. You can also have a strip on the windshield down to the AS1 line.

Don't know what percent they call it but mine are "Limo" all the way around. It looks cool as hell during the day. But at night its a bear to see turning corners or seeing pedestrians.
