I have a 2009 Tacoma 4x4 extended cab. The side mirrors, (electric) vibrate at high speeds. Toyota says it's normal but the other tacoma's I have owned never did that. Any suggestions?

I have an 07' doublecab and have been wondering what vibrates every once and a while...even @ idle!? I don't ever see the mirror vibrating though!

    None yet! It's new!
Nope. Not normal in my experience... '96 - no vibes, '09 - no vibes, '08 FJ - no vibes.

My dad was the previous owner of my Tacoma, and when he owned it, the drivers side mirror vibrated too. He took it to the dealer, and they ordered one and replaced it under warranty. Worth a shot since yours should still be under warranty.

    Welcome to TW!

Good chance the bolts holding the mirrors are loose. Regardless, take it in, and have the dealer fix it. Its NOT normal.

Mine was a bit loose when I got it, just pulled the little tab down on the underside, tightened them up (they are Torx heads btw) and it was good. Only vibrates with the radio at max now :D
