2010 4x4 DC V6 suspension question

I keep reading on here that Bilstein 5100s are a good way to go for a basic suspension upgrade. Assuming I get the TSB done and have the 4th leaf spring installed by the dealer, how much would I need to lift the front in order to level out the truck? I've read 1.75" but I'm not sure if that was with or wothout the extra leaf. Would an alignment be required for such a small amount of lift? Thanks for helping a noob out.

 

5100's are adjustable, so you can set them from stock height to 2.5" of lift. This means you would be able to level it out. Also, anytime you replace suspension components in the front, you need an alignment. There are many posts on this type of issue, try the search button.

 

I should have clarified: I am aware that the front 5100s are adjustable. Just wondering what I would need to adjust them to in order to level the truck assuming I have the dealer do the leaf spring TSB.

The 2010 Tacoma (mine anyway) is fine... it is the older ones with too soft rear springs. I never got or heard of the TSB and paid $800 to have airbags and 5100s added to the rear of my '05... to stop the bottoming out with a load.

 

I gained about an inch in the rear with rear leaf TSB, but I've heard it will settle and you can expect about 3/8 inch raise when all is said and done.
