those the the "in channel" visors by vent visor. they actually mount in the window channel with double sided tape...just make ure with at least 65 out when you install them so the tape will stick

i have always been wondering does the reg. cab have the TRD offroad package option? is it already included in the reg. cab? i havent seen any with the sticker on em.. if not, i was just curious as to why they wouldnt let the offroad package be an option like all the other tacos??

So guys im thinking of putting a 6 incher on my regular cab this summer. Its just a thought. I would still probably run only 33/12.5 tires. But what do you guys think?

You cannot get a reg cab in a trd sport or offroad package. i think because they are not as popular and toyota would probably lose money in doing it.

with that said...i have talked about tacoma "going back to its roots" like toyota did with the 4runner and bringing back options in the model that started it all...the reg cab.

i hope that 2012 reg cab tacos come with the trd offroad package...would be nice to see

Nice thread. I own and prefer to have an access cab but the regular cabs are great looking trucks.

I would def NOT put a 6 in lift on your tacoma for a couple of reasons.

    1. i can see that you do some offroading and believe it or not...because its a drop bracket lift, you actually lose some ground clearance

2 if you are lifted to high, then it becomes more dangerous off road as well. more likely to roll it when you are that high.

    3. its just so god damn expensive. i would dave the money and do an intense solid axle swap i've seen a couple people do...or wait til 2012 to see what toyota will improve and use the $2,000+ for a down payment haha

I was thinking about the same things like ground clearance, tipping ex. But I just want my stock alignment back. The angle on my cv's just bothers me. Ill probably just spend the money on some tc uca's and and some open country mt's 33/12.5.
