hi guys, I have a question about the tranny, when you speed up to 35mph or higher and then let go of the accelerator pedal without breaking when it gets to 30mph I feel a little jerk on the truck and also on the rpms u can see the needle moving up a little, this does not happen when I'm breaking tho. I was wondering if any of you have experience the same thing?

    Nothing yet, brand new!
Engine braking is all. The transmissions on the 2 gens have quite a bit engine drag torque control programmed in them.

Is this when you first start driving and the transmission is still cold?

The transmisison characteristics will be slightly different when cold or warm.

It is normal regardless of warm/cold - the transmssion is downshifting.

If the transmission is cold - the 'downshift' will be more noticable than when its warm.
