Where to buy a 3" lift in canada???

Hello,

I am looking at buying a 3" lift for my 06 Tacoma DB Cab. I live in Canada. I tried buying from toyteclifts but they dont ship to Canada. I'd like to save as much money as possible on duty and shipping. Any suggestions??

Toytec ships to Canada. I just ordered and received a Carrier bearing drop kit from them. Also, there are a few place out here in BC that you could buy lift components from - North Shore Offroad or Sport Trucks Unlimited. I've also ordered stuff from outlawoffroad.com, which also ships to Canada. But the service was not the best and keep in mind you will pay brokerage fees.

Really?? When i was trying to buy from them it didn't give me the option for Canada. Only the States. I'm guess I should call and speak with someone. Was brokeage fees expensive??

Sorry For the stupid questions

Do they still offer full warranty into Canada? And I would also be interested in the additional costs if you don't mind giving up that info.

Brokerage fees will depend on the company that you use for shipping. UPS are the worst, avoid these guys at all cost. USPS are suppose to be the lowest brokerage fees. When I had my Icons shipped to me, I had a $100 brokerage fee at the door, plus the taxes (with UPS).
Man was I angry.

Anyone know if Toytec can ship to a PO box? UPS is stupid and can't find my address up here.

I went with a rough country lift. I am very happy with mine. It came with strut spacers, rear blocks, and rear shocks. Great price for what you get. Just order from the web site.

Most US border towns have shipping service depots that you can have your parts shipped to for a small fee.(Mine costs 4$/package) If you are within a couple hours from the border in most cases it is cheaper to have it shipped to one of these places and cross the border yourself to pick it up. You will still have to pay the duty & GST but you will avoid paying brokerage fees and will get your parts ALOT faster. I think your closest border crossing is Emerson which can't be more than 90 minutes from Winnipeg. Make an afternoon road trip of it!

You'll only pay duty (6%) if it's manufactured outside NAFTA. Otherwise you'll pay provincial tax and GST. Typically you can get free shipping to the border so it makes it quite economical.
