    I did the same thing over a year ago. Then we bought a house and my suspension money went to a new washer and dryer (it's a really nice set, I swear). I finally had to sell my motorcycle to get stuff for the truck.

    my wife and i have seperate bank accounts. and im glad to have it that way :D my truck still gets modded, bills still get paid and there are not fights over how much money one of us spent on "X" item...

    I have found that I am less than responsible with money. it is much better if she handles it. She does let me buy pretty much whatever I want, just got a new Plasma, NQA.

    my advice...buy any and all big ticket items NOW. you are still technically "king of your domain". barely, but you have her on the technicality. shop till you drop fool.
