are blocks bad????

    i want to lift my truck but i dont know if i should go with an add a leaf from toytec or a block kit from rough country. ive installed add a leafs before and that is what im leaning towards

    Any Suggestions?????

    Blocks are for people who are too impatient to save the money and do it right.

    That's a somewhat roundabout way of saying blocks are doing it wrong.

    Yes, blocks are horrible. They come with all kinds of nasty side effects. If you're gonna lift it, suspension lift or not at all.

    Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
    Yeah, try and stay away from blocks. Anything over a 1.5" block = not worth it IMO. Just throws too much leverage on the leafs and leads to a bunch of axle wrap. I've got an aal and a 1" block because my aals settled a tad and I wanted the rear higher again but when the money is available, an aftermarket leaf pack will find its way onto my truck.

    Best way to lift the rear is a whole new leaf pack.

    Better way to lift the rear is an AAL.

    Okay way is small blocks.

    Big blocks are a no go and are only for mall crawler F250's with Fleshstone and Monster stickers on the back.

    Yes you can get an AAL to fit into the TSB leaf pack- Need a new centering pins and new ubolts...

    i agree with everyone else.
    i learned the hard way blocks are horrible, i still have them in right now. just trying to find time to buy a leaf pack and put it in.
    blocks suck! lol my leaf springs are almost curved upwards in the center instead of flat.
