My 06 has 31k miles but was put into service in March of 06. Do you think any dealers would still perform this TSB?

Classic Toyota in Round Rock Texas. 09 Tacoma, 500 miles on it when they did the TSB. V6, access cab, 4x4, SR5
I had the 3 leaf springs on it. Put 600 lbs. in the rear and it road real bad. Sent an email to Toyota, then contacted dealership. Within 3 days, I had the complete TSB done. Rides like a truck now!!!

Chances are slim since you are over the 36 months... but it can't hurt to try. Some have gotten it done over the 36,000 miles. Gotta have a good "story" though.

I just picked my '08 from service today and what a difference. The first time I mentioned my sagging and bottoming out issues they said they had never heard of any problems. The second time I complained they said they had to duplicate my complaint and told me afterwards they couldn't duplicate the bottoming out and if it was really happening it was because I was overloading the truck. Whatever I said. So the third time I came with TSB in hand. Amazing what a difference that made. They called me up that same day and said the parts were on order and this morning I dropped it off and after work I picked her up and I am one happy Taco owner.

Oh yeah, the dealership was Priority Toyota in Chesapeake, VA.

I just got my 2007 dbl cab, LB back from having the TSB done at Stevenson Toyota west in Lakewood, Colorado and I could not be happier with the ride. I was concerned about the ride because I like road trips, and even with the brand new shocks it is just as smooth as before. Pat and Shawn @ Stevenson Toyota gave me no trouble, (33,000mi) and did it correctly the first time...wow, a professional dealership

14Sep09 at 1430- Called Toyota to inquire about TSB
15Sep09 at 1300- Toyota called to say springs have been received and truck can be brought-in asap.

I'm pretty impressed with the service so far. I'm dropping the truck off tomorrow. Wish me luck. Now I need to order some billy 5100's.

I went to get the buzzing airbox TSB taken care of and then try to convice them to do the rear suspension and rear tailgate TSBs. The service advisor was super cool and before I got the chance to ask about the rear suspension and tailgate, he beat me to it! :D He said they do them all the time. I even asked him if he could put a note in there to have the paint shop de-badge all the emblems and OR stickers while they're at it. I had 35,500 miles at that time (Nov 09).
