Curt Hitch and etrailer.com wiring harness.
I added a tow hitch and trailer lights and put Uniroyal 235-70-15s on the rear axle. Will replace the front Dunlops with the larger tires when they are worn.

I also have two terrycloth towels serving as seat covers for the front seats. They are very easy to wash and replace.

Other than that it's they way Toyota built it.

This. Part of the reason I was so excited to get my Tacoma was because not only did I think it was the most fitting vehicle out there for me, but because I loved it just the way it was.

    Epic Fail.

Mudflap trim, lower valance cover, customized skid plate, new headunit, new component speakers, amps, sub, and if taxes treat me well new 265/75/16s.
I still love a stock Tacoma, but I enjoy the fact that I am making it "mine". IMO if you REALLY enjoy vehicles/driving, there are few if any vehicles out there that are an absolute perfect fit right out of the factory. Every rig has room for you to truly make it fit you.

Are you trying to sell the supercharger on Craigslist? If so I think I saw it while I was looking for my truck cap.

A useful add on or accessory is different from "keeping up with the Jones'", e.g. see someone with a mod, then getting the same mod just to post a picture, then novelty wears off.

    I feel the same way.

Bajamoon, help me to understand something. I see you have a highly modified prerunner and that it's an '09. Unless you have paid for your truck already, you'd still be making payments on it, in which case a lender would hold the title to your truck.

If it is the case that the lender has the title and something happened to your income (God forbid), and payments could not be made, then a repossession would be in order. This would be bad because not only would the truck be taken, but all money tied up in the vehicle upgrades would go with it.

    Does that make sense?

I want to perform a SAS on my truck but can't see investing thousands of dollars before it's paid for and the title is mine.

Mine is stock. I did add a TRD skid plate and a Toyota exhaust tip but other than that it's bone stock. I also added 4 more Yota d-rings in the bed. I like stock!:D

Most people have a pretty good idea that a repo is coming, mostly because they are going to not be able to make their payments. In which case you can take your reversible mods back off. Or you could pay the truck off first, it is all personal preference. :D

    Thanks for the response.

I see your point with the reversible/removable improvements. I suppose the way I want to go with a solid-axle swap, there is no going back so it's an all or nothing course of action. The blowtorch kind of makes it final.

Mine is stock, though I added oem side steps. Is that still considered stock?

I will be adding and AVID bar and backrack in the near future though.

Mine is pretty much stock but I just discovered the deck plate mod so that is probably going to happen soon.

Certainly. Even a few "Add ons" that aren't factory, I think the truck would still be considered stock.

As long as the engine, drive-train, body, and suspension components remains factory, then it should be considered stock. IMO.
