Timing Cover

    okay how about I took my Tacoma in for regular maintenance today, get a phone call saying that the timing cover is leaking and the gasket needs to be replaced. I am very skeptical and ask to see proof so I have my neighbor take me back and sure enough the bottom of the engine and the timing cover are covered in oil...Thanks Toyota.

    Luckily i am at 35k and it's covered under warranty.

    Rant Complete.

    Thanks for reminding me. I'm having the rear spring TSB done Monday. I'm going to have them check the timing cover!

    yeah i am just thankful its happened now and they caught it, they also fixed my annoying rattle from the windshield the plastic piece on the outside was broken...how i dont know...but whatever its fixed and i dont here that rattle anymore.
