rear diff tsb

    has anyone heard about the rear diff whine, howl at highway speed tsb.the number ist-sb-0076-08 every where i look i have to pay to see the info.

    custom ram air. blacked badges, hids, rewired front turn signals and park lights, URD short shifter, Pioneer t-screen (no nav), 10" 1200 watt.
    Ex- toyota tech and current Lexus tech and since I have a tacoma, i know all about that. They change out the rear diff with a totally new one => new part number and everything.

    and they install these pads behind the seat...to minimize sound.

    thank'sfor the quick reply.i've been noticing this noise for a few weeks it is more pronounced when lift ting of the gas.when i worked at cadillac we had the same noise on the front diff on the escalade's.but we just replaced all the bearing's an race's.i guess i will be making another trip to the dealer soon.

    You're welcome. Now if you don't mind, I'm off to count my millions of dollars and shop for some LED lights for under my truck. I just finished hacksawing my exhaust off, right at the manifold, for increased volume too. :D Sorry, after reading the one post on here I couldn't resist. Haha.
