Finally got around to installing the Cobra 75 WXST. These things are awesome when your moving through bad weather. Here's a few pictures of the install. I mounted the unit in the center console as I had seen others do. I ran two antenna cables. One was for a window mount antenna and the other for hitch mount antenna. I really didn't want to drill any holes nor did I want a magnetic mount. The window mount I finished, but still haven't installed the antenna on the hitch mount. Has anyone done one of these?

I know neither of these locations are optimal for RF, but its my only options at the moment. I've used it a couple times already with the window mount antenna and was pleasantly surprised by the range. The CB has power even when the key is out. I added a switch as a safeguard and because of some future additions I might make later. I used a rubber grommet and some tie wraps to mount the cable for the handheld. I'll post some pictures later of the window mount antenna and hitch mount when I'm done. Anyways here's some pictures:

Quick question about taking off the 'trim' panel on the rear of the console. Does that just pop off, or do you have to remove the console to remove the panel?

It just pops off. I used a 4" plastic drywall taping knife to snap it out.

Custom mud flap removal from rock on trail :), Tailgate Hose Clamp Mod, Cobra 75 wx st CB install, 19 more D-Rings in the bed, Satoshi Grill, Fog Lamp on any time mod. Relentless Fab CB antenna hood mount, LED bed lights, Demello Hybrid Sliders, Undercover Tonneau Cover, Lighted 4x4 switch
Nice work on that install. I am about to buy and install a Cobra myself. Where did you run the antenna wire from the bed to get it into the cab?

By the way, what is the toggle switch for?
