Anyone with same rattle?

For the longest time i thought my crappy factory top door speakers were blown, any amount of bass would generate a rattle from the upper door panel area. one day i was rolling down both front windows at the same time during a part of a song the really made my speakers sound like shit and bam they sounded fine (no more blown sound). i then continued to put my hand over the door controls to find out that the sound was actually the controls rattling. has anyone else experienced this same sound/problem and what did you do to correct it? Thanks for any input.

 

My door controls rattle like crazy 90% of the time. I have adjusted my driving style to add pressure to them with my leg/knee while driving. If I had to find a resolution to all the rattles/clunks in the truck I would never have time to drive it.

 

Thats funny, but whatever works i guess. It just sucks cuz it really makes the speakers sound horrible. The other rattles i can deal with but these in the door panel are going to drive me nuts!!!

mine rattle also just like yours 08avtaco. I thought about popping the panel of and seeing if i could put some two sided tape or somethin

 

I love my taco but the door panels are just complete shit! EVERYTHING RATTLES~!!!

 

lol my dad's truck is the complete opposite. if it rest my knee on that panel the rattling goes away lol

 

i have a rattle from my exhaust shield being to loose ! lol no i don't have this rattle as i've got sony explodes all the way around my truck

Mine makes the same noise. I really only hear it with certain songs, so I solved that problem by not playing those songs anymore.

Did you ever fix this rattle? I have the same problem...

 

I thought it was may window controls too (may still be), but while detailing the interior yesterday, I realized the little screw cover flap things behind the door handles (the one you close the door with) are pretty loose. I'm almost thinking those little guys could be the noise culprit.

 

Either way, it should be an easy fix. I will dig into this some time this week because it is pretty unbearable.
