Nothing pisses me off quite like seeing another truck go down the highway with trash in the bed spewing out. It really bothers the crap out of me!

Clean out your damn truck beds before you drive!

Pisses me off even more when people throw shit in the bed of my truck while it's parked. If I ever saw anyone doing it, I would treat them only marginally better than if I saw them keying my paint.

This is the reason why we paid $350 for a bed cover for my father in-law. He used to live in an apartment and parted on a bz street. People would constantly throw their trash in his bed.

I parked my truck in the ASU parking lot one day, went to class for nine hours and came back to find that someone had thrown a half-empty Icee into the bed! There was blue gooey shit all over the bed of my truck for a week.

If I ever found the guy who did it, I'd take his tires off and leave them in the yard. Not stealing--just making a point.

At one point I had about 20 empty tins of copenhagen in my bed that I couldnt see because they were stuck up under my bedbox. It freaked me out and made me quit for a bit.

It counts as littering if a cop see's stuff coming out of your bed right?

x2 about people throwing trash in YOUR bed. I've not had the truck that long yet so it's not been an issue. If it happens I'm going to be pissed.

I totally agree on all this. I used to live in an apartment and people would throw cigarette butts in my bed all the time along with other trash. And I definitely agree on the butts out the window thing. I used to ride motorcycles and it sucks ass having a burning butt hit you in the face of chest.

    in SC it counts

even if its blowing around and never comes out...you can get snagged for unsecured load

guys...if yall are getting pissed about trash being put in the bed of your trucks...i feel like yall need some anger management or something...

in the grand scheme of things its minute unless someone like pukes or something overly nasty back there...but in reality...id much rather someone put their cup or something in the bed of my truck while theyre walking thru a parking lot than toss it out there window on the side of the road

at least in the bed of my truck itll end up where it belongs

Littering laws would apply but also unsecured load, as mentioned above.

Tigerfan, I don't know. The point is, at least to me, that people shouldn't be touching my vehicle at all and find a trash can instead. What would they do if my truck weren't there? Throw it on the ground? It's a matter of respect for other people's property and taking responsibility for your actions.

But yeah, in the end, if it's the worst thing that happens to you then your life is pretty easy.

i mean i get it...i dont particularly want anyone doing it to me either...but im not gonna get all pissy about it

im all about people respecting others stuff and taking responsibility for their actions...

i just see this as a minor inconvenience in life rather than something to cry about

That is certainly true. One day something worse, like a real life problem, will happen and trash in the truck bed sure won't matter.

I one time went to a party and left the next morning in a hurry and found about 20 empty beer cans in the bed of my truck and i was thinking what wouldve happened if i got pulled over and he saw all those cans. there would have been alot of assumptions
