Toyota sucks when......

Man I'd be pissed if they left a truck I didn't want in my driveway...That's just idiotic.

 

Hi there...well I have the answers to all your problems lol <<<always wanted to say that.

Anyways, as you can see I have an 05 with 42K on the odometer. I also have the extended warranty (platinum) and I had my leaf springs done 2 months under warranty.

I had to take mine in and have the dealer tell me they couldn't do it, then I called Toyota Extended care and said this to them "my truck is hitting the bump stops when I drive over a speed bump at normal speeds with passengers in the cab," I also said I know this because all the dust was moved when off the stops when I looked at them. I told them I didn't feel safe putting a load in the back of the truck and driving. The extended care guy told me this was a mechanical failure of the leaf springs would be covered under the warranty. After I called the dealer again and told them, they ordered the parts and I said I'll need a loaner. The cost of a loaner is covered under the warranty work for 1 day. So don't let them tell you otherwise.

You sir are a genious... I'll do that...BUt i'll take it to another dealer. Champion dosen't even deserve to work on my baby.

Hey I got mine done at Ron Carter in Alvin like 4-5 months ago. The were decent to me.

 

Thats where I want to go, But my dad said they suck aswell...BUt since im down their every other day, I'll check them out.

 

I took the tsb papers and told them about my ride was really bad and with a load it is worse. Told them checked the old/bad part #s. Right now with all this pedal BS goin on who knows what the dealers will be like now.

 

They are very short with you and stressed to the max. Trying to get a squeeky mirror looked at and they told me no techs available...sorta pissed me off.

 

This all suck too, because I was about to try to get the tranny TSB done.

 

You know what...I bet they still want the $105 just for it sitting their.

 

Tell them to stick it in there ass and take your truck back...

 

I'm sorry to say that I agree. I had an '89, 97 and now a 08. The '97 was the best by far. I do like the 08's engine but the body integrety is really bad.
I had the spring TSB done and I must say the dealer was great. I did everything by e-mail and never saw the dealer until I brought it in for the install.

 

You should have gone to Star Toyota. They will work with you.

 

I have been thinking the same thing , same old American sales who cares attitude - it has been sold

 

If they lied on the parts list that they have to give you they are on the wrong end of a law suit

 

Well they made me pay the 105 dollars...I was pissed. But they gave me a forum to fill out on how my service was....LOL I wrote a two page letter to the dealer on how the sucked...But it was well written and professional

 

Gotta love the direction Toyota quality and customer satisfaction is headed...............................

 

Benca1's dealership just says "yes sir, do you need anything else?" I could not have been happier. Oh, and all the service guys were complimenting me on my truck too.
