shock bolt spinning???

    I get that part, but there's nothing to hold on the top. The space for the top wrench is covered by the lower nut. I actually used that video for my first install awhile back

    The nut should at least go on a few turns before it gets snug. That allows you to have room to get a wrench on the top.

    In your picture I can see some room below the nut so I can tell its not tight yet. Either you are using the wrong size nut or the nylon piece in the nut is causing it to feel tight.

    Last resort would be to cut or drill the nylon out of the nut.

    Vice grip pliers did the job. And didn't even damage the threads
