so for awhile (maybe a year) it seems that my truck hesitates to start cold randomly. for awhile i thought i just needed a new battery, so i bought one about 3 months ago. But i'm still having the hesitation. seems almost like there isa slow drain over night or while it sits. but sometimes there is no hesitation at all. so i dont think its the battery. Like this morning i almost couldnt get it to turn over but at teh last minute it did.

Could it be a starter problem? anyone else notice this? i have a 07 with 60K miles.

    thanks

Yes, 3TMMU52N should be the first set in your VIN and I think your VIN's last set of digits will be smaller than the 7M004232.

Long time since this thread was established, but I have recently bought a 07 4X4 v6 that is doing the very same thing. The link above is no longer working. Any idea what the cause is before I try changing relays or starter or end up taking it to dealer for diagnosing?
