    hello TW.

I am currently in the market for a tacoma, and i thought i found one in Chicago on craigslist. nice looking truck, 2007 access cab 33,000 miles. all for only $8000. he said he was going through a divorce and needed cash. I thought, your full of crap. But I emailed him anyway. Turns out he is in a different stated than the ad, and he needed money through moneybookers escrow service. I decided to google him. I found a post on a motorcycle forum saying that the deal was a scam. One guy posted the email he received from the guy... IT WAS IDENTICAL TO THE ONE I GOT!!!!

So if anyone ever sees the name 'Clifford Pierce' or 'moneybookers' on craigslist IT IS A SCAM!!!

So, this was my public service announcement for the day.

on a lighter note. if anyone knows of a legit 05+ 4x4 V6 taco for sale, let me know.

if you think buying stuff on craigslist is sketchy....think about selling stuff. I stopped giving my email cuz i would get 4 or 5 emails a day on some one who was out of town but would have their buddy come pick it up after i wired them some money.

It's really easy to spot, so now i just mess with them and see how far they'll go to make it look like a real deal:rolleyes:
