I just got a replacement mirror for my truck. Afer I put it on it seems...smaller than the driver side? It also sits further in.

I didn't get a toyota part, it was an ebay mirror. Can someone verify if the stock mirror sits further in, or if it's just the ebay mirror.

I meant compared to the driver side. I notice the gap between the body and mirror housing is smaller.

Well, I order for 2nd gen tacomas, as there's no listings for 2010 mirrors. I figured the hadn't changed the mirror.

I've been running around without a sideview mirror for like a month, so I forgot what the stock looks like.

Not positive on the size difference part but mostly all vehicles have it to where the passenger side curves in more. I noticed that only a few years ago myself.
