Why is there no Tacoma-fest USA?!?

Why is there no large Tacoma owner enthusiast gathering? Or is it me, and I am just missing the fact that something similar already exists? Please correct me...

Obviously the local and semi-regional GTGs, Mod-Days and Trail Days are great for geographical significance, but where is the nationwide annual gathering?

Think about this;

BMW enthusiasts have Bimmerfest and Mfest
Volkswagen and Audi enthusiasts have Dubfest
Ford Mustang enthusiasts have Mustangfest
Corvette enthusiasts have Vettefest

And there's more than that, BUT, those are arguably the most fanatical auto owner groups. As a BMW nut, I would venture to enlist Tacoma owners as fanatical as BMW owners (well, almost). So... why the hell can't I attend some kick-ass heavily sponsored, heavily attended annual Tacoma festival?

I know there are sponsored and well attended 4WD/ Off-Road Truck-show events, but I don't care to look at Dodge Rams, Jeep Wranglers and Ford 150s/250's, etc. I prefer to see a shit ton of Tacomas. 1st generation and on, modded and stock and TRDs to 5 luggers. I want it all.

It's hard to believe that with the diversity on this board that the many great minds here have yet to collaborate and assemble such an event! Tacofest, Tacomafest. I say let's do it!!

For reference, here's a photo from a few years ago at Bimmerfest. In your mind, replace all the BMWs with Tacomas and just think how kick-ass!



What say you TacomaWorld? I want to hear from everyone.


Cliffnotes (for those who lack the ability to ready more than 4 sentences due to ADD); Where the hell is a Tacoma festival. Tacoma owners share the same passion as other car enthusiasts. Time to get our shit in gear TacomaWorld and assemble an annual gathering!

lets do it.i say have it a the Carlisle Pa fairgrounds(all tacoma nationals).thats where they have the(All truck nationals)

 

If we can collect the synergy needed from Taco owners here on TW, then we go after the sponsors (All Pro, Demello, ARB, Avid Off Road, URD, 4 Wheel Parts, Icon, Toytec, Camburg, CBI, Armortech, Hi-Lift, etc

 

Have the TacomaFest in Canada!

 

Having a Tacofest (or Taco Fiesta) would be awesome!!

Hey, it's only like -3 or something right now....that's not bad. It's like 25 or something in your silly Farenheit temperature measuring system.

 

x2.arizona is sounding pretty good right now.since we have 2'+ of snow on the ground.lol.

 

x2 in Squamish, b.c great off roading and camping up there and so beautiful in the summer.

 

Arazona would be a cool place to do some offroading too. It's far from me but if it were in a bad ass state park or something where we had plenty of space to toy around and camp.

 

This would be cool! Somewhere in the middle of USA would be good.

 

I would definetely be interested in Tacofest!

 

most of the people who have porsche's, bmw's, and so on have more money. it would be cool but hard to accomplish. having said that good luck and prove me wrong haha

We need to start recruiting people! I've been trying to get a couple guys from work to join for months! We need an unstoppable army armed with bazookas and flame throwers!!!!!!

 

If you get that many Toyotas together in the same place they'll turn into a giant robot and then speed uncontrollably into the pacific ocean towards Tokyo and when they get there they'll destroy the whole city. Jeez, watch the news.
