shovel mount ?

how does everyone mount there shovel in the bed of there trucks?
ive been looking for some ideas?

 

I have mine mounted to the top of the wheel well.

Alot of guys use these

 

I used a pair of quick fists to mount it to the underside of my trifecta tonneau, so when I flip it over, the shovel is sitting on top.

 

I bought some Quick Fists a week ago from Cabelas and I mounted a shovel inside my Snug Top shell. I used the window hinge bolts and they were a perfect fit. Here are some pictures.

 

I decided this weekend that if my wife's civic gets to have a shovel in it, then so does my truck. I wanted to mount it using the bed rails, but didn't want the shovel to cover the rails. So, I took a page out of w8n4mud's book. I just cut up some corner braces and installed some hardware with some quick fists. Turned out pretty good. The shovel and mounts don't move at all. I might move the shovel to either side, but it's pretty easy to move.

 

no pics available, but I plan on just bungeeing it to my hi-lift for wheeling. rarely need to dig out in L.A. otherwise.

 

I like that mount you did in the rails. I might try that, mine is just quick-fisted to the underside of my tonneau cover.

 

Should work, just be sure to use a long enough support/brace that the shovel doesn't hit the tonneau.
