True, people bust on me for having a PreRunner all the time, that is until I take them offroad, and show them up. Then they shutup.

Based on your post, maybe you should've stayed in school longer/done a little better?:notsure:

Nonetheless, props to you for paying for your own vehicles.

Here's a couple comebacks for the big 3 dongers we all work with and bag on us..

    Bag on this ....

Slap your lips on this Charley...

And the list goes on, just remember what your getting yourself into.

"Tacomas are better than Fords" (any of them in My opinion)
But if you want to go Apples to Apples
BASE Tundra vs BASE F150 (base v6 to v6 then base v8 to v8 Maybe)
    However
    Tacoma vs Ranger (No Way!)
(I don't even think a Ford lover would dare to consider a Ranger decent competition to the Tacoma)

So I still think my statement still stands "Tacomas are better than Ford" I would even take a recalled Toyota truck over any Ford truck currently being built.....

I agree "domestics have really come a long way in a short time, and it's about time."

EDIT: and on topic... i usually just say "ok guy, well whenever we off road together just make sure youre behind me so i dont run over the parts falling out of the bottom of your truck" they most of the time cant think of anything to say right on the spot

take this kid for a ride and mash the gas. ( dont be stupid about where you do it) just did it with a friend of mine who is a big muscle car guy and has a 2000 eclipse that he dumped about 10 grand into. after that ride he had a huge smile on his face an all he could say was damn this truck has torque.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
    a 3' lift?...you carry a ladder in the bed?
You can tell your buddy HE has to touch the gas pedal to get acceleration!
And his actually has a payload that kills fuel economy.
And his wheels' finish may blind him in direct sunlight.
No concerns of that with this Tacoma owner.
