I had a topic up here a few weeks ago and go some great tips on saving gas, none of which were really new to me, but non-the-less I never really believed it would make that much of a difference...

While driving 200 miles exactly to visit with my GF:

-The best MPG I ever got before was 18.9. This was just driving, not paying attention to speed, RPMs or how I was using the gas pedal.

-Last weekend, I got just over 22 MPG and am on pace to reach the 400 Miles on 1 Tank of Gas Club! I set my Cruise Control at 64 and stuck to keeping the RPM's under 2000....

Needless to say, it worked. Granted it took me about 20 minutes longer to get there, I was amazed to see that drving habits can change your MPG by 3-4 MPG.

    I have a 06 double cab Tacoma

    Too few to list.
I have a 6spd and keeping the rpms at or under 2K rpms = 55 mph. I do get 20+ hwy miles by doing this.
