I'm thinking of putting a 40 inch bar on the roof or a 30 inch bar in the lower grill. These lights in the pics are only 20 inch, but you get the idea. I think I like the roof better. What do you guys think?

Option #2 is inside the lower grill.

Put a 20-30 inch bar behind a satoshi, then light your fucking truck up like knight rider!

i don't like the roof. I don't think it would look right just sitting up there by itself. Maybe if it were built into a yakima wind deflector or something. You could find a smaller one and jam it into your hood scoop :) then send pics because i'd like to see it.

Lower grille would look better than the roof, but I'd need to see it.

    Build thread in sig...
I say two 20 inchers side by side on the roof. that way it fills out the roof rack and there's not one just awkwardly sitting there

what do they look like lit up (white i'm asuming)?

Camper top with racks, Custom fogs behind lower bumper. Interior LED lighting, Rock Lights, Hella 500s with upraged bulbs behind black billet grill, AAL, Front 5100s
I just did lighting in the lower grill and so far I really like it. Finding good ways to mount behind the grill ca be a pain though.

I think it'd look okay if it were centered on the roof rack...not off to the side like shown up above. And I like it in the lower grille...Maybe spray some VHT Nite Shades on the lense to tint it up so its not all blingy :)

No they are not emergency lights. It is rigid industries LED bar. I'm starting to lean toward the lower grill too. Less likely to get stolen.

These things put HID lights to shame. It's like comparing HID's to halogens.
