A Ford Escape is NOT a Ford truck.My 03 F250 that I use for work has 181000 miles on it without a problem.How about many problems being caused by driving habits,lack of maintenance,etc.There's no way of knowing by reading some shit on the internet.

 

Of course the domestics make garbage. They weren't bankrupt because they made quality products that everybody wanted.

Then there's the problem Ford has with sticking gas pedals or something where the truck can't slow down. My father-in-law has a 3 year old F350 with less than 20K miles on it. They have a piggyback camper on it. Last year, they were traveling along and came to a red light. He takes his foot off the gas and it keeps going! Both feet on the brake pedal and they still couldn't stop it. Had to turn the truck off after veering through the intersection avoiding all the other vehicles. Ford's analysis of the problem: "Can't find anything wrong." So now they're afraid to drive it. It scared the Sh$t out of them. Wonder how many of these problems are occurring with all manufacturers but none of them are acknowledging it either.

 

Tacomas have there share to, just like every other company... But not major problems like that!

 

My dad had fords for his under cover cop cars and what hunks of shit they were!!
