So I hit a full sized Doe with my ARB bumper friday morning going 45 mph... I launched him about 30 feet... bumper didn't move, scratch, dent, or even blink... BUT~ the plastic foglight provisions they put on it did faulter a little.
I guess the head of the deer went straight for the foglight and busted that plastic... so now i gotta figure out a new game plan for that...

Pics? What did it do exactly to the fog light piece? I saw on an fj forum where they were doing 55 (i think) and only dented the plate, those things hold up really freaking well. Bet your glad you had it :D

You can see the foglight is cracked also...
Im not sure why but both of them cracked the other morning for no good reason... I also had a skillsaw fall 2 feet at work that same day and the handle/case shattered... ?
Oh... and i did have to dig my license plate outta the wench hole... but even though it ripped the metal on the license plate to fit in their and scraped it reall good, it left no marks!

Hopefully mine will hold up this well. Weird that both pieces broke for no reason. Good thing you got the bumper though. Paid for itself right there

Wife hit a deer last monday morning. 3200.00 in damage to her Honda Accord. Insurance is taking care of it. Deer can really tear up a car or truck pretty quick. Glad you only suffered minor damage. Sounds like the ARB did its job.

You launched "her" about 30 feet. Haha just busting your balls...this is exactly why I have to get a bumper on my rig soon. Just can't decide on which one I want to go with.
