Just got the phone w/Toyota Exp. Ctr.
There is nothing out there yet for the dealers to use as a fix for our Tacomas
As soon as Toyota puts the procedure in place for a fix, Toyota will send us all notices about it and about having it done

I asked about an override for the override (after all I drive a truck for Pete's sake and sometimes I have to use the gas and brake at the same time)- They do not believe that there will be one

I think I'll pass on this one

as a toyota tech i can tell ya you can still power brake the truck and trail brake . a certain criteria has to be met for the override to work. if your pedal gets cut you wont notice

Nobody's doing any of that shit to my truck. Period. No floormat repo, no pedal trim, no brake override, no nothing.

    Thanks
If that info also applies to the Tacoma then that is way more info than the Experience Ctr. would give me
The PDF seems to clear up a lot of misinformation & speculation

I was in for servicing at my dealer yesterday and they said the Tacoma was going to be part of this , but that Toyota was going to apply it to different vehicles in an order , and when the Tacoma's turn comes up we will be notified by mail ,
