Question about camera in tailgate

I found this on ebay,

was wondering about folks that have the factory cam, if they could get some close ups, folks that have the pop n lock, what does the mount area look like, does the pop n lock come with a handle or is that an extra purchase, looking at the new 8521, thanks for any input.

I don't have the lock, but I doubt both camera and lock will work simultaneously. If you look at where the key is in the lock, that's where my camera is located. Maybe someone else can shed some light for you.

 

The camera relocates to the left of the handle with the Pop & Lock. I just installed mine today. If you have the wiring for the camera and the camera, it will mount to the Pop & Lock handle w/o any hardware from the original tailgate handle. The only problem I can foresee is if there are differences in the insides of the 05-08 handle and the 09+ handle. Because there is a gasket you move over and then the mounting holes would have to line up.
